Closing GJUI 2011

Buat yang ikutan closingnya GJUI kali ini, gimana kesannya? seruu? rame? so pasti Ruaaaammmeee bangeeettt!
bahkan kali ini yang dateng ke Gelar Jepang UI 2011 kali ini lebihhh banyak daripada tahun lalu! Buktinya bisa diliat dari jumlah peserta cosplay yang ikut audisinya dan banyakknya orang yang dateng buat kesana sekedar buat nonton atau cuci mata pernak-pernik khas Jepang yang dijual disepanjang jalan yang dipenuhi sama bazar.

Yang selalu dateng tiap tahun pasti udah tau seberapa ramenya acara ini berlangsung. Buat yang tadi gak dateng jangan sedih, tahun depan masih ada kok! ^_^

Nah.. di closing kali ini ternyata banyak loh yang cosplay secara kelompok. Eits! walaupun dibilang kelompok tapi costum yang mereka pake beda-beda loh. Jadi gak sama semua, misalnya tentang Naruto semua anggota kelompokknya mesti pake baju atau dandan kayak karakter di anime Naruto. Kalo yang ini malah gado-gado, ada yang coplay jadi Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid), Kaname Kuran (Vampire Knight), dan masih banyak lagi. Hontou ni sugoi deshou?? ^_^

Nih... salahsatu kelompok Cosplayer yang ok dan kompak abiss!

Seminar Animasi by Hello Motion

Minna~~ gimana kabarnya?
Hari ini di Universitas Indonesia atau yang lebih kita kenal dengan sebutan UI diadakan Gelar Jepang UI 2011. Yah.. mungkin udah pada tau ya tentang acara yang cuma digelar setahun sekali antara bulan Juni dan Juli secara besar-besaran dengan sekian banyaknnya sponsor, dimulai dari Yui-Indo, Onizuka,Purezento,dan lainnya.

Dan di hari kedua ini ada acara "Seminar Animasi oleh Hello Motion" dengan pembicara pendiri Hello Motion yaitu Mas Wahyu Aditya. Acaranya berlangsung seru dan rame, gak nyangka ternyata banyak banget yang suka sama Animasi dan Jepang. Seminar kali ini membahas tentang Animasi kini dan nanti.

Nah.. ternyata banyak banget fakta-fakta yang mengejutkan buat kita para pecinta Jepang, animasi, manga, dan lainnya. Indonesia masih menganggap animasi itu profitnya kurang, padahal animasi buatan anak bangsa gak kalah menarik loh sama animasi luar negri. Buat kamu-kamu yang pengen banget jadi Animator atau orang yang membuat animasi dan mau menjual hasil karya kamu ke Indonesia, sebenernya sangaaaatttttt susaahhh! Kenapa? karena Indonesia masih memandang sebelah mata mengenai profesi ini.

Tau kan film Upin& Ipin, Shrek, Kung fu Panda 3? yang ikut dalam proses pembuatan animasi itu orang Indonesia loh~

Kita ambil contoh Upin& Ipin, kabarnya orang yang membuat animasi ini adalah orang Indonesia. Tapi kenapa pake bahasa Malaysia? Karena sulit menjual animasi ini di Indonesia. Mesti dibawa dulu keluar negri terus dibawa lagi ke Indonesia baru bisa dijual (berat di ongkos dong!)

Dan.. fakta yang lain adalah banyak animator dari Indonesia bekerja di luar negeri bagian animasi. Dan gak banyak orang yang tahu kalo animasi luar yang terkenal di Indonesia ini ada campur tangan orang Indonesia asli.

Yang lainnya adalah setiap tahun ada 10.000 animasi dibuat dan hanya 2.500 yang dapat dijual ke major tertentu. Hebat kan? Bener-bener sulit perjuangannya tuh buat ngejual animasi kita.

Tahu animasi Big Buck Bunny gak? Ternyata eh ternyata animasi itu dibikin sama 7 orang animator dari berbagai negara dengan software free yang bernama Blender. Animasinya 3D dan gak kalah bagus sama animasi 3D yang lainnya. Biasanya buat bikin animasi 3D, animator bakal bikin animasinya pake software yang harganya mahal dan kualitasnya bagus. Nah... ini software free loh! dan hasilnya selevel sama software yang harganya mahal itu.

Buat yang udah nonton, mungkin udah liat di endingnya ada 4 jam cara pembuatan animasinya. Cukup sulit kan? tapi menarik buat dicoba! Buat yang belom nonton, donlot dulu atau nonton via internet.

Oh iya...selain Big Buck Bunny ada lagi tuh animasi Jepang (maaf gak tau judulnya apa soalnya pake bahasa jepang baut judulnya) bersambung yang simple, tapi pake program yang biasa aja dan hanya dibikin oleh 1 orang saja! Wow! kereeennnn!!

Kalau kalian memang niat mau jadi Animator, pertama harus niat, kreatif,dan gak mau kalah sama animasi luar yang lain.

How to clean a scanned drawing

If you’ve drawn on A4 paper, like I have, 300dpi is enough, while if it is smaller it should need at least 400dpi, and if it is detailed and very small sized you could use an even higher dpi. It’s up to you to deal with your computer’s possibilities. Better not to give too much advice since I’m not a total expert!!!

how to coloring in anime style with Photoshop *part 2

Before starting with the shading, let’s make some order in the layers windows!
How to use the layer set
1- Select the highest level and then click below where there’s the icon of a folder.
2- Change the name of the folder that appears in the layer window, renaming it, for example, as “base”.
3-/4- starting from above to bottom, drag all the colour levels onto “base” (take care to maintain the original order).
5- Click where you see the small circle. The arrow will change direction from pointing down to pointing right and all the previous created layers are hidden in the folder! Left over are the layers with line art and the one with the background. Each time you need to select a layer inside the base set, just click again over the arrow. It’s like the tree visualization used for files.
